About US
Our mission at The Arc is to empower families and individuals with disabilities to reach their full potential through recreational activities and advocacy. We currently serve more than 250 members who live in Sebastian, Crawford, Logan, and Franklin counties in Arkansas and LeFlore and Sequoyah counties in Oklahoma. The Arc offers weekly classes and activities for members. These include movies, outdoor activities, bowling, art, science classes, cooking classes and so much more. The Arc also holds quarterly advocacy meetings. These include guest speakers on various topics. The Arc also helps connect members with advocates and resources. This includes local legislators, Disability Rights Arkansas, Arkansas legal services, transportation, and medical services.
The Arc is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Membership is $30 a year and includes all activities at the Arc.
Volunteers
The Arc runs on volunteers. Many of our activities are lead by volunteers & many programs were created as a result of our volunteers. Without them, the Arc wouldn't survive. Staff
With a heart for service and a strategic mind, Rileigh Richardson leads our team as Executive Director. She brings extensive experience in nonprofit management and is dedicated to advancing our mission through thoughtful leadership and strong community partnerships. Rileigh works to ensure our organization remains a place of opportunity, growth, and inclusivity for all.
As our Program and Volunteer Coordinator, Debbie Tubby oversees the planning, execution, and growth of our programs. Debbie ensures that through meaningful activity, we meet the needs of the Arc community. With a passion for connecting people and fostering positive change, Debbie works closely with volunteers to create fulfilling and impactful experiences for everyone involved.
