Activities
The Arc offers activities every weekday.
Every Monday at 1:00PM we have popcorn, drinks, and a movie.
Every Tuesday is Digital Literacy at 1:00PM, followed by 2:30PM Art Class.
Every Wednesday Karaoke begins 2:00PM. On the second Wednesday of every month, we celebrate all birthdays of the month with cake.
Occasionally the UAFS Chemistry Club hosts our Science Class.
On Thursdays at 2:00PM we have Exercise Class. Later in the evening at 6:30, Arc members can bowl at Midland Bowl for $1.75 a game (including shoe rental).
Every Friday we have Crochet Class at 1:00PM, followed by Bingo at 2:00PM.
We alternate activities on Friday and may have a special event or other activities on Friday in place of bingo.
A detailed monthly schedule can be found on the events page. When official activities are not happening, members can spend their free time in the social room or on our computers with internet. Our social room is equipped with televisions, gaming consoles such as a Wii and Xbox Kinect, movies, books, water bottles, an indoor basketball game, puzzles and a pool/ air hockey table. Snacks are provided every day.
Arc members also enjoy bigger events. Throughout the year we hold our annual Bark for the Arc fundraiser & dog competition, seasonal dances, a fishing derby and picnics.
